As artificial intelligence becomes integrated into public health systems, governance is no longer just a policy question. It is the foundation for public trust, accountability, and equitable decision-making. This panel explores the governance architecture required to oversee AI-enabled public health infrastructure across federal, state, Tribal, territorial, and community systems.

Panelists will examine how authority should be distributed, who is responsible for oversight and accountability, and how communities can play a meaningful role in shaping and governing the systems that affect their health. The discussion will also address the mechanisms needed to ensure transparency, evaluate outcomes, and build lasting public confidence in AI-enabled public health.
