Why Join Our Network?

NHHRI is a Latino-led national institute that turns community priorities into rigorous research and real change. We partner across clinics, universities, and grassroots organizations to deliver community-powered solutions that reflect America’s full diversity. Bilingual, culturally grounded, results-driven—we improve outcomes now, not someday.

What we deliver: a stronger national research infrastructure built on trust, data excellence, and community power.

Target Sectors

  • Two women sitting at a table, one showing a printed presentation to the other. The woman on the left is smiling and wearing a black Betty Boop T-shirt. The woman on the right has glasses, wears a pink top, and holds the paper. There are plants and a brick wall in the background.

    Nonprofit Organizations

NHHRI partners with nonprofits that are driving change in their communities—organizations working in public health, housing, education, environment, and social services that directly influence community well-being. By joining our network, nonprofits gain access to shared data tools, training, and partnerships that strengthen their ability to measure impact, advocate for equity, and inform policy with real-world evidence.

    Clinics and FQHCs

We collaborate with clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers that serve diverse and often underserved populations. These front-line providers bring critical insight into the social and clinical realities of community health. Through participation in NHHRI, they contribute to a national data platform that helps identify trends, inform care strategies, and connect local innovations to a broader network of research and policy solutions

    Higher Education Institutions and Researchers

NHHRI welcomes universities, research institutes, and investigators committed to advancing health equity through Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR). This approach positions community members as equal partners—co-designing studies, guiding priorities, and shaping outcomes that matter locally. We seek academic and independent researchers across disciplines who believe that science must listen to and collaborate with the communities it serves. Together, we build a new standard for research that is ethical, inclusive, and action-oriented.
