Dr. Adrienne Martinez-Hollingsworth is a Latina nurse scientist and health systems leader specializing in the design, evaluation, and governance of artificial intelligence in complex, safety-net healthcare environments. She is currently the Director of Research and Evaluation at the AltaMed Institute for Health Equity. She is also a Director with the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. Her work focuses on ensuring that AI technologies are implemented in ways that are ethically grounded, operationally feasible, and aligned with health equity and value-based care. She is the originator of the Equitable AI Partnership Framework and the Extractive–Collaborative Technology Continuum, conceptual models that guide how healthcare organizations, researchers, and industry partners structure AI collaborations to promote transparency, shared ownership, and long-term trust.
